Mayor Andrew Swaby, JP and the KSAMC congratulate the Honourable Steadman Fuller, CD, JP, Custos Rotulorum of Kingston, who was recently awarded an honorary doctorate by the Mico University College. This distinguished honour recognizes his exemplary service in education, youth development, entrepreneurship, and public life.

Beyond his many contributions to our city, Custos Fuller is also the proprietor of Kingston Bookshop, a major provider of teaching and learning materials to schools across Jamaica. He has been a consistent and valued partner of the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC), particularly in support of education through our Back-to-School Programme, helping to ensure that children are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.

He has also played an active role in our Labour Day initiatives, working alongside the Corporation to uplift communities and create opportunities for young people and families.

His work is a powerful reminder of the impact one individual can make through a sustained commitment to service, education, and community development. We celebrate this well-deserved achievement and encourage all stakeholders to draw inspiration from his dedication to education, business, and the people of Kingston.
