We express sincere condolences on the passing of Retired Justice Ian Xavier Forte, husband of Member of Parliament Marlene Malahoo Forte.

Justice Forte served Jamaica with distinction over a long and accomplished career, including as Director of Public Prosecutions and President of the Court of Appeal. His contribution to the administration of justice and the development of Jamaica's legal system earned him the respect of colleagues and citizens alike.
