Kingston Mayor launches City wide cleaning project

Mayor of Kingston, Senator Delroy Williams has invited the public to furnish the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) with areas within the municipality that are facing commercial garbage issues.

This will form part of the #KleanKingston campaign that the Mayor is planning to launch and will include the placement of several bins across the city as well as a sanitation team that will be tasked with reducing garbage pile-up along streets and public spaces.

Williams also encourages members of the private sector to play their part in the cleanliness of the city by ensuring they dispose of their waste in the proper manner. He went further to suggest that the municipality welcomes the support of the private sector in placing adequate bins across the city for disposal of garbage.

The mayor also stated that persons can submit the locations of areas identified to the KSAMC via email at ksamcissues@gmail.com
